ARTISTS please plan to join us for our Second Annual Plein Air @ Altitude 2022 and paint all that Grand County, Colorado has to offer.
Saturday Morning September 3 – Plein Air @ Altitude Artists Paint Funky Fraser. See artists in action as they paint en Plein Air Saturday morning within Fraser Town Limits.
At 2 pm, you can view and have an opportunity to purchase their works from the day. Finished, framed – although likely still wet – artworks will be displayed and then for sale at the Fraser Mural Park behind the Distillery.
Artworks will be displayed for preview at 2 pm; the sale begins immediately following sculpture dedication ceremony at 3 pm; Sale ends at 4 pm.
Sunday, September 4 – 10 – 2 Plein Air @ Altitude Artist Spotting – Artists will be painting at Winter Park Resort around Sunspot!
Tuesday, September 6 – Plein Air @ Altitude Artist Spotting – Artists will be painting in and around Grand Lake . Grand Lake is a mountain village that supports a western feel, with boardwalks, the lake and views of the Continental Divide. Victorian- rustic style and historical buildings, with quaint structures on the side streets.
Wednesday, September 7 – Plein Air @Altitude Artist Spotting – Artists will be painting in and around Hot Sulphur Springs, see them at the Pioneer Village Museum or Jones Creek Ranch (aka Hiimebaugh Gulch, 895 CR 55. Note: If visiting, please heed parking signage when in and around town.
Friday, September 9 – Plein Air @ Altitude Reception and Silent Art Auction. 6 – 8 pm at the Rendezvous Event Center ON and around the Stage. Meet our Plein Air @ Altitude Artists and have the first chance to purchase works created in Grand County from the week. Tickets required; go on sale August 15th <here>
Saturday, September 10th – Plein Air @ Altitude Festival. 10-2 at the Rendezvous Event Center ON and around the Stage. Free. See and purchase artworks created between September 2 and 10th created en Plein Air within Grand County. You can also try Plein Air for yourself! We will have kits available for you to embrace your inner artist!
