More Background on Fraser Valley Arts

Fraser Valley Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in January of 2021 with the mission to build, promote, and sustain creative endeavors across the Fraser Valley.  The ultimate goal is to fund the creation of the Fraser Center for Creative Arts, a vision created by the Town of Fraser and its stakeholders.

Fundraising for the Center has been robust, with 20 members of a Founders Circle ($30,000 and up), a $1m matching grant by a local resident, and widespread support from small and large donors.   We are nearing $4m in committed assets for the Center (including the land, which FVA owns), and need about $2m more to break ground.  We hope to achieve that by 2027, 2028 at the latest.

We provide the community with artistic opportunities in cooperation with the Fraser Valley Recreation District, the Town of Fraser, Rendezvous Colorado, the Winter Park/Fraser Chamber of Commerce and other stakeholders.  Since 2022, FVA has created a full calendar of events, including:  National Theatre Live, The Alpine Art Affair, The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival (in collaboration with the Town of Fraser), Plein Air@ Altitude, Holiday Markets, and mini-galleries and hangings in local businesses.  These events drive our fundraising.
