Jack Kerouac Sculpture Dedication

See the bronze statue of Jack Kerouac created by local artist Howard Neville and learn about author Jack Kerouac and the influence of US Highway 40 on his travels and classic book, “On the Road” . This is the only life sized sculpture of Kerouac, known as a forefather of the hippy movement. His work is credited with influencing ‘60s rock bands including Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Grateful Dead and the Doors.
Plein Air @ Altitude works from the Day will be available for viewing and purchase immimmediately following sculpture dedication ceremony at 3 pm; Sale ends at 4 pm.
