DESCRIPTION: A (3) three day PleinAir Workshop for intermediate and advanced level creatives who want to understand the art of plein air (French for “outdoor”). Richie Vios will share tips on how to simplify the watercolor process by breaking down the essential elements that lend success to plein air artwork. He will guide each artist to understand the watercolor medium through live demonstrations and advise how to create a process for their skill level, pace, medium and subject matter. Richie will demonstrate the four pillars of a good watercolor painting and teach how to understand the watercolor consistency called “Watercolor Clock. ” You will learn to produce a more truthful work of art that is full of passion. Richie will assist in the development of your skills, painting, visualization and will help you to become an efficient, confident plein air painter.
